The burgundy was selected for the colder months ahead, a depth of colour designed to hold its own against grey skies, made for wrapping around your shoulders while you read or settling into as the temperature drops.
The Serra Da Estrela was made with different intentions entirely. We selected the wool of the high altitude dwelling Bordaleira sheep, woven in Portugal, it carries that mountain life in its hands: dense, coarse and substantial. It is designed to keep out a mountain chill and to be worn in over years like a favourite pair of boots, a blanket built to gather character the longer you keep it.
Back on the softer side, our Cashmere Wool Throw goes even finer than the merino. A small measure of cashmere was chosen to fold through fine wool, creating something gentler against the skin, quiet and light where the Serra da Estrela is rugged by design.
Saardé respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which we live and work, and pays respect to Elders past and present.
